Coaching with evidence: turning conversation data into better reps
“Be more confident” isn’t coaching. Here’s how managers use real moments from real conversations to change behaviour.

Most frontline coaching is based on memory and impressions. The feedback is vague because the evidence is thin.
Start from the moment
When every conversation is scored, a manager can open a rep’s scorecard, see that need discovery is the weakest dimension and jump straight to three conversations where it went wrong — and one where it went right.
- Pick one skill per week
- Use the rep’s own conversations as examples
- Pair them with a top performer’s conversation on the same situation
Measure the change
Because scoring continues after the session, you can see whether the skill improved. Coaching stops being a meeting and becomes a measurable loop.
