Terms of Service

These terms explain your rights and responsibilities when you use OrySense.

Last updated: October 2026

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, web applications, mobile applications, devices and related services offered by Orysense Labs Private Limited ("OrySense", "we", "us" or "our"), including orysense.com and app.orysense.com (together, the "Services").

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The Services

OrySense provides conversation intelligence. Depending on the features you use, the Services can record or receive audio of meetings and conversations, transcribe and separate speakers, generate summaries, insights, follow-ups and coaching, and connect with third-party tools such as calendars, meeting platforms, CRMs and messaging apps.

We may change, add or remove features from time to time. Some features may be offered as previews and may change or be withdrawn.

Your Account

  • You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Services.
  • Tell us promptly at info@orysense.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

Recording and Consent

Recording laws differ by country and state. Some require the consent of every participant before a conversation is recorded. You are solely responsible for:

  • informing participants that a meeting or conversation is being recorded and transcribed, and obtaining any consent required by law;
  • admitting the OrySense notetaker only to meetings you are permitted to record; and
  • complying with any policies of your employer, your customers and the meeting platform you use.

The OrySense notetaker identifies itself by name when it joins and may post a notice in the meeting chat. Participants may ask you to stop or remove it at any time.

Your Content

"Your Content" means recordings, transcripts, notes, contacts, accounts, tasks and other material you upload to or create with the Services. You keep all rights to Your Content.

You grant OrySense a limited, worldwide licence to host, process, transmit and display Your Content solely to provide, secure and improve the Services for you, and as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell Your Content.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break the law.

AI-Generated Output

Summaries, action items, insights, scores, briefs and suggested emails are generated automatically and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review them before relying on them or sending them to others. They are not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.

Third-Party Integrations

When you connect a third-party service (for example Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot or Notion), you authorise OrySense to access and exchange data with that service on your behalf, limited to the permissions you grant. You can disconnect an integration at any time from the Integrations page, and you can also revoke access from the third-party service's own settings.

Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies. OrySense is not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • record or process conversations without the consent required by law;
  • use the Services for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, harassing or discriminatory purpose;
  • upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services, other accounts or our systems;
  • reverse engineer, copy, resell or create derivative products from the Services, except where the law allows; or
  • interfere with the security, integrity or performance of the Services, including through automated scraping or excessive load.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

Plans, Fees and Billing

Some Services are offered for a fee. Prices, billing cycles and limits are shown at the time of purchase or in your order. Unless stated otherwise, fees are payable in advance, are non-refundable except where required by law, and exclude applicable taxes. We may change prices for future billing periods with reasonable notice. Referral credits have no cash value and are applied as described on the Refer and Earn page.

Our Intellectual Property

The Services, including software, designs, models, trademarks and documentation, are owned by OrySense or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for your internal purposes while your account is active. Feedback you give us may be used without obligation to you.

Privacy and Data Security

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information, including information we receive from connected Google and Microsoft accounts. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect Your Content, but no system is completely secure.

Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Services and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting info@orysense.com. We may suspend or terminate the Services for you if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Services. On termination, your right to use the Services ends; we will delete or anonymise Your Content within a reasonable period unless we must keep it by law.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of transcripts or AI output, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, OrySense will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Indemnity

You will indemnify OrySense against claims, losses and costs arising from Your Content, your recordings (including any failure to obtain required consent) or your breach of these Terms.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts having jurisdiction over the registered office of Orysense Labs Private Limited shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will give reasonable notice, for example by email or in the app. Continuing to use the Services after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
